Robotic unit for handling and scanning cyto-histological samples
Thanks to a multi-articulated mechanical arm, finderFlex can handle and insert slides, marcrosection slides, biopsy cassettes, super mega cassettes and vials into the appropriate racks in a fully automated and secure way. The operator simply has to turn on the device and log in to add any new samples for storage. Using a latest-generation barcode scanner, finderFLEX also rapidly scans any barcodes, QR codes and Data Matrix 2D codes, communicating directly with the LIS to ensure a systematic and traceable sample management and handling process. finderFLEX identifies and manages the samples directly from their standard racks and containers*, significantly reducing handling times, also thanks to the automatic transmission of the gripper fingers.
The device is also equipped with simple and intuitive software and a touchscreen panel, which the operator can access in total safety in case of emergency.
*Slides can be managed with direct sampling from Sakura and/or Leica cartridges after they exit the Digital Pathology scanners

Smart unit and client unit for the automated and traced storage of cyto-histological samples
smartCABINET is far more than your simple storage cabinet. It is an intelligent automated system which, thanks to the components and functions of the LOGIBIOTECH system for pathological anatomy, can help operators perform all phases for the storage and retrieval of cyto-histological samples.
Thanks to the software installed, ‘pick-to-light’ technology, Wi-Fi connection and the use of samAPP, each storage and retrieval operation is carried out in a secure, traceable and recorded manner.
Modular and flexible:
Numerous identical units can be added to each smartCABINET and each of these can in turn command an infinite number of clientCABINET to adapt to any storage volume requirement and space available.
9 pull-out compartments with slots for 22 or 11 LOGIBIOTECH racks give a total capacity of:

fastSNIPER
Semi-automatic device for the retrieval of slides and biopsy cassettes
fastSNIPER rapidly identifies the slide or biopsy cassette to be retrieved and, using a laser beam, signals it to the operator who manually selects it from the rack. An on-board barcode reader allows the operator to verify the correct selection.

All Logibiotech containers are specifically designed to keep slides and biopsy cassettes well separated and locked in the rack, ensuring secure, simple and rapid management by the operator in all storage, transport and retrieval phases.
Each rack has a unique and permanent alphanumeric code and relative QR code for complete traceability.
The racks can be placed in smartCABINETs, clientCABINETs and easyCABINETs then transported using the appropriate trolleys.

easyCABINET and tomTROLLEY
Unit for the medium-long term storage of cyto-histological samples
easyCABINET can be used individually or combined with other units in any room for the secure storage of slides, biopsy cassettes, macrosection slides, super mega cassettes and vials placed in the specific rack, without requiring the further separation of individual samples and different types of racks. The shelves, directly visible thanks to the plexiglass door with key lock, are coded for the correct positioning of the racks and allow rapid traceability using the system software. easyCABINET does not require any electrical connections.

The tomTROLLEY shelves are specifically shaped to insert cyto-histological sample racks, with a capacity of 5 racks per position, for a total of 60 racks.

samAPP is a mobile app for Android systems with advanced and easy-to-use features
Installed on smartphones provided, samAPP is an essential tool to ensure the complete management of the storage, transport and retrieval flow of cyto-histological samples by the operators who interact with the system.
